The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra has named the top 15 events in the retrospective of the 2015/2016 concert season.
Among the most significant events was the eighth joint performance of the legendary Zubin Mehta and the Philharmonic, held on September 20, 2015. The season was also marked by the presence of the world's best tennis player, Novak Djokovic, at the opening ceremony of the concert season, as well as the launch the Metronom blog, with the intention of promoting the concerts through multiple venues.
As well, the Philharmonic introduced 5 additional time slots for the five most demanded concerts in five cycles in the 2015/2016 season. The cycle “Philharmonic – Because Once is not Enough” presented a mini concert season, and the Philharmonic enabled the new audience to acquire tickets through this innovation.
The previous season was also marked by the performances of Xavier de Maistre, currently the world's best harpist, the violin virtuoso Nemanja Radulovic and guest performances of the ensemble in Serbia and abroad.
