Dutch VNB Knitting opens knitwear plant in Grdelica

Dutch Ambassador Henk Van den Dool and major of Leskovac Goran Cvetanović opened on Friday, April 15 in Grdelica a knitwear factory VNB Knittnig of an investors from the Netherlands. The plant, located in a former factory hall of Danilo Boskovic, employs 26 people, and sixty more vacancies have been announced.

- In an interview with company representatives, I was told that they have a goal to annually export about 35,000 male and female sweaters to the market of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium - Cvetanović, who reminded that the Dutch leased the department for a period of 6 years , said

Owners of company Klas Veijer and Robert Bade said that thanks to good cooperation with Cvetanovic and local leaders, skilled labor force was found. They announced they will operate in two shifts.

Dutch ambassador stressed that this is the first investment of that country in the south of Serbia.
