Arabs are planning huge investments in Zobnatica

The Arabs are planning large investments in agricultural company Zobnatica from Backa Topola, executive director of Zobnatica, Suvaidi Al Saed, said on Wednesday, announcing they are planning to use modern technology and to cover a large number of hectares of land with greenhouses.

Suvaidi said that at the Kopaonik Business Forum, all heard that this is a fertile land, where no one has done a thing for 30 years.

- This year we are continuing to invest in new technology because we want to be operational throughout the year. We want to build greenhouses as well but it is not easy to cover hectares of land. We want to invest also in the irrigation systems - he said.

At the panel on the investments of the United Arab Emirates in Serbia, Suvaidi said that that they want to stay permanently, not just a few years.

As he says, here land is processed in traditional manner and Zobnatica wants to raise the quality level.
