Russians express great interest in medical tourism in Serbia
The Russian Business Club from Belgrade organized direct meetings in late December 2015 between the owner and management of Gornja Trepca-based Atomic Spa and companies Amed Tour, Ventus and Pak Group, which specialize in medical tourism, as well as Natali Tours travel agency that is engaged in classical tourism. These meetings were very successful, thus resulting in an agreement on cooperation that entails sending clients to Atomic Spa for treatment.
Aforementioned medical tourism organizations have not had Serbia in their offer until now. The Ventus agency, which was declared the best agency of Podmoskovye (Moscow Oblast or the Moscow Region), and Pak Group are posting the presentation of Atomic Spa on their websites.
All these agencies are interested in other spa resorts in Serbia as well, which is why B2B meetings were also organized with Prolom Spa, Lukovska Spa and Merkur Special Hospital in Vrnjacka Spa. The management of Ventus and Pak Group will be visiting all these spa resorts in February 2016 to get familiar with their potential and concretize prospective cooperation.
- Serbia has a lot to offer to Russian tourists. Attractive tour arrangements are definitely necessary, but so are B2B meetings with travel organizers. Many Russian medical tourism organizations are looking for new destinations - Vladan Brankovic, the CEO of the Russian Business Club in Belgrade, told eKapija.
