Developmental Agency of Serbia set up - SIEPA and NARD become a part of history

As of January 2016, the Developmental Agency of Serbia will have the task to provide equal terms for investing and business in our country for everyone. It will inherit the National Agency for regional development (NARD) and SIEPA which will be shut down. It is not an easy task, analysts say.

On the one hand, there are more than 200 investment projects and presentation of economy at almost 800 fairs. Still, the other side for shutting down SIEPA and the National Agency for regional Development contributed to decision. Current practice in their work had to be stopped, the ministry says. It is a question how investors will see change of rules.

Long-term synchronization in programs, objectives, different selection of staff, better project implementation, transparent investments and these are effects which Developmental Agency of Serbia should achieve.
