IGB Automotive comp invests EUR 4.5 million in new manufacturing plant in Indjija - Job for 500 workers

IGB Automotive comp from Indjija yesterday signed an agrement with the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) on the allotment of new incentives for the construction of new manufacturing plant for car seat heaters, steering wheel heaters and seat occupancy sensors in Indjija, which will result in hiring more than 500 new workers over the next five years for an indefinite period of time.

- Today, IGB Automotive comp doo Indjija employs over 1,500 workers and produces in excess of 16 million products a year. In addition to the automotive industry standard ISO/TS 16949, this company also operates in line with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 since late November 2015. The future investment in the new manufacturing plant of the company will amount to minimum 4.5 million euro, which will keep IGB Automotive comp doo Indjija on the Top Employers list - said IGB General Manager Dalibor Beric.

IGB Automotive comp doo Indjija was established in 2007 by I.G.Bauerhin GmbH from Germany to produce car seat and steering wheel heaters, seat occupancy sensors, cables for seat heaters, electrical control units.
