"Porsche" rewards 8,000 workers with 5,200 EUR because of increase in sales of its automobiles in the world

- Thousands of workers of company "Porsche" will obtain 5,200 EUR each as special reward for strong growth of sales in the world and expected growth of profit - German manufacturers of luxurious automobiles announced.

The company with the headquarters in Stuttgart, the most profitable world manufacturer of automobiles, has announced that about 8,000 workers will obtain special bonus in amount of over 3,500 EUR, which is the amount of bonus they got last year.

In fiscal year 2007, which ended on July 31, total of 97,515 automobiles worth 7.4 billion EUR were sold, which is 3.4% more than one year before.

- The company has not announced complete report on annual operations yet, but it is expected that its profit, before settlement of tax obligations, will be much larger than 2.1 billion EUR in 2006 - said Manager of company "Porsche", Vendelin Vindeking, last month.

Preliminary data for year 2007 will, most probably, be announced next month.
