Milsped Slovenia obtains ISO 9001 certificate

Milsped has said in a release that it resumes QMS certification in the region in a bid to improve the operations and the quality of service. Last week, on 5 November 2015, Milsped Slovenia obtained an ISO 9001 certificate from the global certification company SGS.

Services that were the subject of this certification include the provision of international and domestic transport, customs clearance services and warehousing.

The aim of this verification was to determine the compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard, as well as to make sure the quality management system has a capacity to achieve the goals stemming from the adopted Quality Policy of the company, all in line with users' real requests and applicable laws and regulations.

In compliance with the standard, SGS carried out a thorough check and determined that Milsped Slovenia had an established and controlled quality management system that was in accordance with the requirements of the standard and the adopted Rules and Quality Policy of the organization. Accordingly, a recommendation of SGS was to issue this significant certificate to Milsped Slovenia which, thus, joined other certified members of the Milsped Group (Milsped Montenegro and Milsped Croatia), the release reads.
