Pelle Italia, a vendor of high-quality Italian leather, is opening a new showroom and distribution center in Belgrade on 9 November 2015. In a location in the Zemun neighborhood of Altina, buyers will have a chance to take a closer look at Pelle Italia's leather as well as to get familiar with the new collection of quality buckskin and eco-leather made in cooperation with Germany's Textum.
In that way, all visitors of the showroom will be able to choose between more than 100 different articles in over 850 colors and patterns, which can be used to make footwear, clothing, furniture and other products.
- So far, we have invested about EUR 500,000 in Serbia, and once the distribution center reaches its full capacity, the investment value should be about EUR 1 million - Aleksandar Damjanoski, the executive director of IPelli Design which already has a distribution center and a showroom in Nis, says in a talk with eKapija.
This joint venture called Pelle Italia, which brings together companies from Serbia, Macedonia and Italy, formed a network of distribution centers in several Balkan countries in February 2015 for the purpose of fast and efficient supply of Italian leather to local markets. As eKapija then wrote, the joint venture was formed by IPelli Design from Nis, CEIM dooel from Skopje and Gruppo Mastrotto from Italy, and Pelle Italia aims to become a reliable supplier of leather for the markets of Serbia and Macedonia, as well as one of the three largest suppliers in the Balkans.
