New department of Children's Oncology in Nis underway - Delivery of most favorable offers for construction September 30

The mission of the National association of parents of kids suffering cancer (NURDOR) to build and equip chemo-oncology department at Nis-based Children’s clinic has slowly becoming true so contract on construction was signed with the Clinical center.

As NURDOR communicates, the contract was signed yesterday by president of the Managing Board of the association, Todor Mancic and the head of the Clinical center of Nis, Zoran Radovanovic in the presence of minister of health, Zlatibor Loncar and it implies construction of a two-floor facility on 750m2.

They outlined new facility will be in line with a kid’s needs and European standards as well as that the project is very important “not only for little patients but for their parents and medical staff which at current conditions perform great”.

Estimated project value totals EUR 500.000 and as NURDOR says, so far, EUR 100.000 has been collected. They explain they need EUR 100.000 more to complete the first stage, i.e. to place the roof on the facility.
