Chinese construction giant CSCEC announces penetration of regional market

Wei Yan, the vice president of one of the world's largest construction companies - CSCEC (China State Construction Engineeering Corporation), has announced certain projects in the region. At a conference held at IEDC-Bled School of Management, Mr. Yan said that the strategic goals of the Chinese corporation were internationalization and aggressive penetration of foreign markets.
CSCEC plans to implement projects all around the world, including the Western Balkans. They already have branch offices in Albania and Romania. The company already announced possible participation in projects in Serbia and Montenegro two years ago.
CSCEC is building all residential and business facilities up to 660 meters tall, bridges, airports, railways, metros, hotels, resorts, hospitals, wind farms and solar plants, and it is also engaged in designing and engineering.
They have so far implemented 5,000 projects in more than 100 countries. In addition to China, most of their projects are implemented in the USA, Singapore, Algeria and the United Arab Emirates. CSCEC has over 200,000 employees, 85% of whom are engineers.
