Legends of ex-YU basketball to play on the same team on June 30 in Ljubljana

In Ljubljana-based hall ’Tivoli`, on June 30, the basketball game named `The Night of Great Men` will be held, on the ocassion of which basketball legend Jure Zdovc will officially say goodbye to the active play. The basketball players of Union Olimpija will stand on one side of the court, whereas, opposite to them, there will be team made of players Zdovc played with during his career.

The players on that team will be Aleksandar Đorđević, Zoran Savić, Predrag Danilović, Predrag Stojaković, Žarko Paspalj, Dejan Bodiroga, Vlade Divac, Dino Rađa, Stojko Vranković, Velimir Perasović, Toni Kukoč, Zoran Čutura, Panajotis Janakis, Lefteris Kakiusis, Roberto Brunamonti and Arvidas Sabonis.

Arrival to ’Tivoli`was confirmed by Slobodan Subotić, Dušan Hauptman, Primož Brezec, Beno Udrih, Rašo Nesterević, Marko Milić, Slavko Kotnik, PeterVilfan and Radoslav Ćurčić, who will be on the team of Olimpija.

The teams will be led by Dušan Ivković, Božidar Maljković, Zmago Sagadin, Željko Obradović, Vinko Jelovac and Etore Mesina.
