Construction of Excellence Center in Kragujevac to start in April - Completion of 210 flats for young scientists by the end of 2015

Rector of the University in Kragujevac, Slobodan Arsenijevic, said that by late March it should be known who will build the scientific center on 11.000 m2.

- I hope tender for contractor of the Excellence Center, stem cell as we call it, should be completed by March 25 and early April should see its construction start - Arsenijevic said.

The European Invstment Bank provided EUR 30 m through the loan for the construction of the Excellence Center which will comprise the stem cell bank as well as flats for young scientific worker.

Flats, on 10.000 m2, in Dimitrija Tucovica 3, near the Plaza shopping mall and they should be ended by the end of September and rector thinks they will be constructed by the end of the year.

Outlining that criteria set by the European Investment bank, Arsenijevic said the tender for delivery of the flats will highly likely be released in April this year and they will be delivered in line with rules.
