Like a cat – iPhone will turn around in the air to fall safely

We have all experienced the situation that a phone fell out of our hands at least once and we all made a face as if we were expecting the worst scenario while the device is hitting the surface. That cold sweat when picking up the phone will become a history.

"Smart" phones will become even "smarter", since they will "know" which side to fall and thus avoid hitting its sensitive parts. During yesterday, Apple got patent called "protection mechanism for electronic devices". It is a sensor which detects whether a device is falling and turns components to decrease damage possibilities. Just like a cat, it will have reflex to turn during the fall.

This patent was registered in 2011 it was yesterday, December 2, 2014, when Apple obtained the right to it. Still it should be taken into consideration that it does not mean the next iPhone generation will have it since Apple has a few interesting pants which are still not available to users such as for "a glass which can almost not be destroyed”.
