Small and medium-sized cleantech enterprises have athe opportunitu to applz for financial funds for the development of their projects by October 4 that will range between EUR 100,00 and EUR 5 million. EIT InnoEnergy, a n innovation engine for sustainable energy backed by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, has started a new investment cycle. The company carried out its first investments round in2011 and has so far funded projects from 8 different areas across Europe which resulted in EUR 3 billion from the projected sales, the company reminded in an official release.
The funds are directed towards small and medium-sized enterprises with proven technological concept that will transform the future of energy in Europe. On top of funding, InnoEnergy offers applicants a trusted and proven, collaborative innovation platform and access to an energy innovation ecosystem of more than 385 industry partners from across the mix of sustainable energy solutions.
– Commercialization is our priority when it comes to SMEs that carry out innovative projects, Besides, it is very important to shorten the time needed for a product to reach the market, to make it internationally available as well a the time needed for business to grow and making possible for companies to access risk-free secure funding, InnoEnergy Innovation Officer for Central Europe, Marcin Lewestein stated.
All businesses that apply by October 4 must already have developed technology, that is, they must have a developed product prototype because it is a large-scale investments.
